Do you want to make a difference for people breathing, speaking and living with a stoma?
As Innovation Analyst, you will develop and maintain a data structure that enables the monitoring of emerging technologies that can be potential opportunities or threats for Atos Medical. Your focus will range from direct and indirect competitors to parallel industries, start-ups and academia as well as from materials and compounds to miniature electronics and digital solutions.
You will be part of the small but growing Front-End Innovation team within Atos Medical R&D where together you will uncover and mature new opportunities and feed insights directly into our product teams.
Your duties & responsibilities
Finding consumer and innovation growth opportunities in core and emerging markets. Uncover what customers are missing in their lives and help create new products and services to solve this. Use research and data analysis to find changes and opportunities in the market. Picking up interesting developments before they become public IP-records. Identify threats and possible disruptors to our market and support in evaluating the potential impact and course of action.
Discovery of technology or materials that can be incorporated into our product development. Considering what technology is available today but also clarifying how the technology is maturing. Challenging conventions and asking the right questions with a mind of your own.
As part of the Front-End Innovation team, you will be a trusted partner of both Marketing and R&D teams. Providing new insights from a data-driven perspective as well as creative visions and inspiration. You will help build trust and confidence through everything we do, so that they can focus on the biggest challenges in front of them, without the fear of missing out.
Your competencies & experience

Education
• University degree (BSc. or higher)
Experience
• Affinity with Data Science or Data Analytics
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
• Knowledge of data collection, storage, algorithms, validation, and visualization to generate meaning from data
• A developed sense of curiosity to understand other disciplines
• A strong appetite for collaborative learning
• Communication of the results of the scouting with others in the organization
• Help create ways to run pilot tests or experiments to validate the findings
Your personal characteristics

• Structured, analytical, meticulous
You will report to our User Experience Manager leading the front-end innovation team. This team is part of Atos Medical R&D. You will split your time between our HQ in Hyllie, Malmö and our R&D facilities in Hörby as well as working remotely upon agreement.
