A regular day at work
Our purchasers play a vital part in the smooth running of the business by sourcing new suppliers for everything from stationary to machinery parts that keeps production flowing. You will negotiate with new and existing suppliers to source the very best products whilst maintaining a low cost. You will also be the point of contact for suppliers therefore building and maintaining an excellent relationship with them is key. You will work closely in a team of 6 people and report to the Purchasing Manager.
• Source goods and services through qualified vendors, search and evaluate new vendors through established processes, focusing on quality delivery and pricing.
• Negotiate pricing.
• Manage agreements and vendor relationships.
• When escalated, manage quality and delivery problems with suppliers.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to all internal customers.
• Purchase materials as assigned, ensure on time delivery and expedite as necessary.
• Manage reconciliation daily discrepancies on supplier's invoices.
• Participate and drive in improvement initiatives.
• Various administrative duties
You:
Confident with a pro-active approach to work and a willingness to learn.
High energy and commercial focus: customer first.
Strong admin, planning and organizational skills.
Previous experience in manufacturing purchasing would be a plus.
Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Experience and Education:
• 3 years of experience in similar position
MS Office - MS Outlook, Office 365, Word, Excel
Efficient time management skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Detail orientated
Customer service oriented (internal and external)
Interpersonal skills
Fluent in English and Swedish- other languages is a plus
