The Section for Printed electronics is specialized in organic, printed and hybrid electronics. Many technologies and components on flexible substrate were developed and RISE holds more than 50 patents in this emerging field. Our testbed, PEA Manufacturing, is a part of the Printed Electronics Arena which facilitates a laboratory and competence environment for large area and printed electronics.

About the position

Job Description:

Our continued growth has created an exciting career opportunity for you as Ink Rheology Expert working with functional inks used in Printed Electronics. You will evaluate liquid inks and coatings and assess performance against defined sets of physical requirements. You'll have an opportunity to work on new ink concepts mainly with inkjet, gravure and screen printable inks.

We aim for a permanent employment, but we offer a one-year contract to begin with.

Requirements

Master's or PhD degree in physics, analytical chemistry or related field; 3-5 years of experience with inks chemical and physical testing analysis techniques including chemical property determination, rheology, mechanical testing and optical quality control (less experience may be considered); Experience/familiarity with


* ink validation and processes
* printing and coating equipment including post-treatment techniques (thermal, UV, NIR, photo-sintering)
* ink production equipment

Operating experience in inkjet, gravure and screen printing is a plus

Self-motivated with strong analytical, organizational and time management skills; Strong interpersonal skills including effective written and verbal communication;
