The production organization is responsible for all operations within the group and consists of four plants in Sweden, Belgium and Norway. A lean and efficient structure is key to our success and continuous improvement.
With special focus on injection moulding this new position will be a qualified support in all plants in the Plastal Group. You will provide technical guidance, expertise and experience towards production, projects and engineering of moulded plastic components. Implementing the “best practice” will be an important part of your role as an expert, as well as future challenges. The role as Injection Moulding Expert includes traveling mainly in Europe.
Main tasks:
• Support with trouble shooting, analysis, optimizations and quality improvements
• Analysis with focus on cycle time, capacity of injection moulding machine and optimizing the use of regrind materials
• Process support for tool and product engineering
• Tool follow up, start up and optimization for complete bumper systems
• Project support for injection moulding machines and equipment
• Process support on development of new materials and concepts
• Development of new tooling concepts
• Design for production
We are looking for a person with at minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience from the automotive plastic industry. You have good knowledge of moulding, project work and computer skills in Microsoft Office and Auto Cad. Your educational background is a University degree in Engineering. Personal characteristics looked for: creative, analytical, structured, convincing and a team player with flexibility, drive and commitment. You have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
