Cellutech brings new advanced sustainable wood based materials to the market by serving as a link between academia and industry.
Research Engineer
Cellutech is now looking for a research engineer to strengthen our development team.
Your main task will be product development of Cellutech's new materials. You have excellent problem solving skills, are eager to develop new technologies and seek practical solutions in the lab. New material concepts are constantly being evaluated at Cellutech, you therefore need to be flexible and curious to learn. Important parts of the job are the ability to fast grasp new ideas and evaluate their potential by keeping up to date with novel technical concepts and markets.
The competence and know-how you bring will play a key roll to complement the development team. Experience of working with cellulose chemistry, polymers of renewable sources, fiber/polymer composites or colloidal chemistry are highly appreciated.
You need to be self-driven when planning, accomplishing and documenting the work. Your ability to collaborate with experts within different fields is also essential. Strong oral and written communication skills are required when presenting work internally and to external contacts.
You hold an MSc or PhD in relevant technical areas i.e. chemical engineering, material science, polymer chemistry or organic chemistry. You also have a minimum of 3 years working experience from product development.
Cellutech is located at Greenhouse Labs at KTH campus in Stockholm.
