About our customer:
Join our DB2 Team as a DB2 Infrastructure Technician, where you 'll play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing DB2 systems on the mainframe platform.
Domain & Sub Domain: Mainframe - DB2
Job Description:
As a DB2 Infrastructure Technician, you will:
* Be an expert in DB2 on z/OS, focusing on system-level understanding.
* Work with a team to upgrade DB2 for z/OS.
* Provide support round-the-clock along with your team.
* Handle tasks like fine-tuning performance, managing patches, and preparing for DB2 changes.
* Assist DBAs with technical support.
Mandatory Skills:
* 5 to 10+ years of experience with DB2 and z/OS.
* Knowledgeable in DB2 Systems programming.
* Hands-on experience with IBM DB2 products.
* Experience in upgrading DB2 on z/OS.
* Familiarity with 3rd Party products like CA Platinum.
* Experience with upgrading Tools and PTFs.
Secondary/Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with additional 3rd party products such as AQT.
Language Requirement:
English, Swedish a bonus
Additional Information:
