Role description
As Infrastructure Support Specialist at Columbus, you will be a part of our Digital Operations team which is a global function. You will be the go-to person when it comes to all IT-related inquiries. Your responsibility lies in improving the employee experience by managing and delivering IT field support, Onsite Infrastructure Support, Asset Life Cycle Management, and other End User Services. This includes handling all types of IT-related inquiries, everything from purchase and inventory of hardware, solving support tickets for users, educating colleagues within software services, and so on. When needed, you will also run internal IT projects when the need for changes or upgrades occurs. You will be a key player when it comes to having our daily operation up and running.

On an ordinary day I go into the office to solve tickets and help users, but the role can also include travels to other Columbus offices for support on-site. What I enjoy about the role is that I learn a lot of new technologies, as well as the smile I get from users after solving their issues. What I appreciate particularly about Columbus is the flexibility to plan my workdays, as well as all of my skilled colleagues whom I get to learn a lot from."
Requirement profile
Looking for our next colleague, we aim to find someone that is eager to improve the employee experience and ease our colleagues' everyday work. You have great self-leadership skills and the ability to prioritize, and enjoy working independently and taking action.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
• 5+ years of overall IT experience, both hardware, and software
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in End User Computing
• Fluent in English both verbally and in writing
