What is needed in this role:
Experience working with RACF and z/OS security administration.
Strong understanding of mainframe architecture, security principles, and compliance requirements.
Solid experience with security products in z/OS environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Ability to analyze logs, audit outcomes, and findings from pentests, transforming them into actionable improvements.
Familiarity with mainframe security models and security industry standards such as NIST, DISA STIG, PCI DSS, CVSS.
Experience with certificate management in RACF and external systems.
Experience working with environments under strict ITSM processes.
A proactive mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to support other teams during complex installations or upgrades.
Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
