We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with a broad knowledge, who will perform within the Factory and Operator Support, a part of Manufacturing & Logistics products. In general, the Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, storage area networks, hosting and networks. They are responsible for getting things installed, maintained, upgraded, and continuously improve our organization's operating environment. Infrastructure engineering ensures that the IT infrastructure is sufficiently robust, scalable, and efficient to deliver the integrated services underlying the physical environment that supports the processes, physical resources (including facilities, hardware, software, and tools) and people required for developing, integrating, operating, and sustaining IT applications and support services.
What you'll do
You will support objectives to ensure that a reliable, consistent level of service is available to infrastructure consumers and/or IT service consumers-both human, machine and applications. You are responsible for the hosting environment in the local factory plant, including servers, storage, virtualization, the facilities (or clouds) in which they are housed. With an always-on mindset you will be assisting departments in the factory (Engineering, Operation & Maintenance) in designing, configuring and managing solutions for their devices, tools and applications, in line with factory and corporate standards. You will also be working closely with the local Factory On-Site team and be supported by global specialists and operations teams.
You and your skills
You are a curious team player who loves to collaborate with others. You have a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent experience in relevant field to properly set, manage, and meet expectations to ensure quality of solution delivered based on user impact and stability. You are an experienced engineer, comfortable with hosting environments and client access infrastructure. You possess a general knowledge in the areas of Network, DC management, Cloud solutions, hosting, end user services

You have strong analytical skills, are energetic and always push for innovation. You are excellent at communication, presenting and relationship building with teams and global stakeholders. You have a holistic viewpoint and being value oriented, with an ability to inspire and motivate others in working towards a goal.
You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbally and written. If you possess knowledge within automotive ITIL and/or agile development practices tools such as Azure DevOps or alike it's beneficial.

Preferably you have experience from hosting, cloud solutions(AWS, Azure) DC management and network, strong analytical skills, capable of building and maintain good business relationships, focused on delivering results based on agreed objectives, knowledge within automotive ITIL and SAFE is meritable.
