About the job Networks are the backbone of a modern business environment. They connect internal employees to business applications as well as partners and customers to network enabled services.
Our main goal is to manage the network availability and continuity to ensure the capability of passing all necessary traffic under any condition and that the information is available to all those who are authorized to access it. Also, to control the traffic accessing the network and flowing across the network by making sure it is secure, valid, known and not violating any of the rules defined by Swedbank's Security Directives.
As an Infrastructure Engineer you will become part of an international team of professionals and work with network security architecture, designing new solutions, maintenance, optimizing existing systems/platforms and participate in infrastructure projects.
What you need to succeed Knowledge of network, application protocols and security technologies
Understanding and/or experience of all or some of following is a requirement: Firewalls (Checkpoint), ADC (F5), IDS/IPS, routing/switching
Script writing skills is a requirement
Experience in automation of network services and supporting service based monitoring in an enterprise environment is a merit
Effective is your middle name and you are always looking for possibilities to improve daily routines
Excellent team player with good cooperation skills
Social, driven who is not afraid of taking on challenging tasks
Eager to learn and adapt to different environments
Ability to reach out to people in an open, simple and caring way
Open mindset with a customer focused approach
Excellent communication skills in English is a must
Agile experience is a merit
University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics or other sciences and/or previous relevant working experience within IT sector
