hela Sverige As part of Event-driven platform capability offerings, we are now looking for a strong candidate who could lead a team responsible for evaluating, building and offering a event streaming platform leveraging tech like Kafka (not limited to that).
The scope of the consultant services is to assist in
Architect, manage and offer Apache Kafka infrastructure or similar event driven platforms.
• Support our development teams with set up and troubleshooting.
• Proactively monitor the availability and help fix issues.
• Automate cluster management / routine tasks.
• Set up Monitoring, Alerting, and Metrics reporting.
• Conduct performance, failover testing and capacity planning.
• Inculcating "infrastructure as code" mentality in the DevOps team overall.
• Participate in event-driven, real-time data pipelines.
Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills:-
• Experience in architecting a highly resilient Apache Kafka/Confluent Kafka infrastructure and deep dive knowledge in Kafka to handle enterprise Production support.
• Familiar with delivery semantics, ability to guide the developers on interfacing with Kafka and publishing events.
• Experience in creating stubs for producers, consumers and consumer groups for helping onboard applications from different languages/platforms.
• Experience with setup and deployment (CD) of infrastructure on public Cloud using deployment tools such as Terraform, Ansible, etc
• Requires excellent collaboration, presentation and communication skills.
