Mölnlycke is now looking for an Infrastructure EHS Associate Laboratory Specialist within the Laboratory & Innovation Support department on a temporary contract to cover for a parental leave until October 2025. The purpose of the position
• is to secure expertise for the infrastructure work within R&D Laboratories and Innovation Support with focus on EHS (Environment, Health and Safety). This means mainly to coordinate the daily work and lead assigned projects and activities within the EHS area. One upcoming huge project is with regards to our move of laboratories to the new headquarters in GoCo Health Innovation City in Q4 this year, where you will play an important part with stakeholders both internal and external.

In this role you'll focus on to plan and execute assigned tasks related to infrastructure, represent area of expertise within projects and activities, coordinate the EHS work related to the move of R&D laboratories, prototyping and process testing facilities to new office.
These are the key accountabilities
You'll be coordinating the EHS work in the R&D laboratories, prototyping and process testing facilities
You'll plan and conduct management walks, facilitate and perform risk assessments and coordinate writing of procedures and work instructions related to EHS
You'll maintain and follow up EHS action plan, perform assigned actions related to EHS and coordinate update of classification plans together with external partner
You'll secure compliance within assigned area by participating in EHS audits and hold trainings within own expertise area.
You'll ensure continuous improvement of laboratory infrastructure and EHS by identifying development needs and requirements.
Capabilities
To succeed in this position you'll need to have deep knowledge in working with development and maintenance of the infrastructure in laboratory and basic understanding of Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical device and work environment.
You'll also need to have scientific and technical competence within assigned area and to have excellent communication skills plus fluent in English written and spoken.
Qualifications and Experience
2 years' experience within relevant laboratory work
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry or life science or equivalent
Experience within Medical device/ Pharma or relevant field
