www.epirocgroup.com. We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Specialist in IT Infrastructure Hosting team, to focus onone or several functions in File Services, Windows Server and Backup.
Epiroc IT develops, operates, monitors and maintains a wide range of information technology solutions and services to enable Epiroc's growth and profitability. The function operates on a global level to ensure that the organization has the tools needed to be successful.
The Infrastructure team within Epiroc IT are unifying process, routines, standards and tools into ONE way of working, supporting business in +60 countries spread around the world. With the above currently on-going, we need your expertise in Server hosting infrastructure to help us reach our goals!
Your mission
As Infrastructure Delivery Specialist with focus on Backup/File Services/Windows Server, you will work with delivery and operations - tactically and strategically, while ensuring solutions deliver world class services to the business geographically spread around the globe.
You will contribute to the Infrastructure roadmap, which supports business needs while being mindful to require global adoption to routines and guidelines. We try to keep things simple and document solutions and processes to support our will to automate whenever possible. Hopefully, you will be responsible for one or several functions in the areas of Backup, File Services (Isilon/ECS/DFS) and Scripting/Automation. We adapt the role based on the successful candidate's knowledge and skills together with the team's needs.
Within this role, you will both get the chance to work strategically, by building maintenance processes and structures, as well working operationally in the global hosting team, getting hands-on by gathering requirements, as well as developing and testing solutions.
You will be part of an international team, spread out around the world. We work in an open and friendly environment, where we support each other to ensure we provide the best possible solutions to our users.
Your profile
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with extensive general knowledge in Infrastructure and good knowledge of Windows/File Services and Scripting/Automation as well knowledge of Veeam backup, Linux and Altiris.
Preferably you should also have knowledge in:
* File Services (Isilon/ECS/DFS)
* MS Operating systems
* Scripting
* Monitoring
* Server Platform
* VMware platform
* Cloud Infrastructure
* Azure platform
* System Management
As a person, you are pro-active and see solutions where others might see challenges. You feel that challenges drive you and surpassing expectations motivates you. Furthermore, you are a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, who enjoys collaboration both on an internal and external level.
You have an understanding for supporting a multinational organization. As our corporate language is English, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional international travel will be part of the role.
