As an Infrastructure Architect, your task is to take a holistic view of IT infrastructure and ensure that Stena Metall has the appropriate IT infrastructure for its business needs. Our IT environment encompasses both on-premises, Azure, and AWS, and your role will be crucial in driving our architectural work forward to optimize our hybrid infrastructure.
Key responsibilities and skills:
• Identify and drive the development of principles and guidelines to maintain and enhance a sustainable architecture.
• Design relevant infrastructure solutions, with a focus on business value.
• Participate in projects and assignments, actively collaborating across different functions within IT and the business.
• Ensure that infrastructure services meet requirements related to functionality, manageability, cost-effectiveness, security, and quality, in collaboration with other architects.
• Serve as a key advisor for IT strategic decisions.
You will be part of Stena Metall's Enterprise Architect department, which consists of several architect roles within Stena Metall IT.

To fit for the role, you should have a relevant degree and several years of experience working as a cloud- infrastructure architect or in a similar role.
In addition, you have/are:
• structured, analytical, and have the ability to take a broader perspective to see the big picture.
• A strong collaborations skill that allows you to build productive relationships within your own group and across other IT teams
• A possess deep knowledge and experience with at least one of the leading cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their services and tools.
• A good understanding of networking, security, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
• language skills encompass both spoken and written communication in Swedish and English
