You will be part of an engaged and high paced team in an international and multicultural environment within a department developing and supporting our future IT solutions in the production and distribution area. We find ourselves on the cusp of a transformation with heavy investments to transform and modernize our overall IT architecture. We are supporting the Volvo Group's Digital ambitions to become a fully agile, data-driven company, and we are building the foundations, supported by improved use of digital data through its lifecycle.
The team of Manufacturing is highly focus on the digital transformation and we are on a journey into new ways of working. We target the Penta Manufacturing digital solutions and covering the end-to-end core processes. We are driving several exciting transformation projects and initiatives to digitalize our business processes and leverage the value of data and become a fully data-driven company.
Our existing IT solutions comprises of a mix of varied technologies mainly Commercial Off the shelf (COTS) IT solutions and SaaS solutions from vendors. Our ERP system is JD Edwards.

You have experience of IT assignments in infrastructure, understanding infrastructure concepts, and techniques. You will manage the interaction with business stakeholders regarding infrastructure, end-user and onsite services. You will drive the infrastructure roadmaps and the lifecycle management within application infrastructure. You will secure input to negotiations to modify, clarify or optimize the services provided by the supplier of infrastructure services, software or hardware. You will monitor services levels and supervise and participate in runtime process interactions releases and deployments, change management, escalation of incidents and problems.
You need to create awareness of IT Security Policies and raise and follow-up exemption requests. You will design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure and solutions and contribute to the cloud engineering competency build-up. You need to think that tracking, mitigation and securing that our infrastructure is following our standard. You need to think that lead the development of processes, activities and controls within IT- infrastructure function e.g. vulnerability management, threat hunting, IT-security incident handling is fun.
You will work functionally on, incident, problem, knowledge and change management processes & roles, essential for runtime quality of the application infrastructure, end-user infrastructure, support & core infrastructure. You need to have Oracle, Linux and Windows knowledge. And if you have experience like cloud, azure, citizen development and new technology or a background on ERP systems like JDE or SAP, it is a strong advantage,.
