The Infra & Tools Engineer is member of the Automation Chapter, an organization unit within the SAFe/DevSecOps based organization of Ikano Bank Digital. The Chapter is responsible for guidelines, best practice and guiding activities for setting up environments, tool chains and strategies applied on the Ikano architectural landscape.

The Infra & Tools Engineer is responsible for supporting cloud infrastructure configurations and changes, automation testing configurations and preparation, feasibility studies and POC's.

While supporting projects & products in their strategy approach considering automation and CI/CD when applying the framework required based on the need.

You will be working in a high intensity, deadline driven environment. You will be responsible for planning, designing, deploying, maintenance and troubleshooting through all layers of the Software Development Life Cycle. The Infra & Tool Engineer is responsible for working with all application teams to facilitate the delivery needs of the program.

The main responsibilities include:

• Serves and leads - responsible for Automation, configuration, advisor and implementer of changes required for fulfilling the needs of the different squads.
• On horizontal level, ensure usage of right tools for creation of automation framework and review on regular basis.
• Enable the centralization of toolset used to be efficiently used by the many teams
• Lead your own activities, negotiate scope, develop estimates, plans, monitoring metrics, and provide daily guidance to the team.
• Work with DevOps team to drive efficiencies,
• Oversees the ongoing activities status; identifies risks. Develops, recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions and implements as appropriate.
• Makes recommendations to improve and support business activities.
• Serves as a subject matter expert and the liaison between technical personnel and non-technical personnel.

Professional skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience from Cloud infrastructure setup
• 1-2 years experience from AWS/Azure
• Familiar with setting up frameworks for various purposes based on Best practice in relation to work environment
• BS/BA or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, business, or related field is substituted
• Familiar with SAFe framework and DevSecOps Agile ways of working
• Experienced within setting up automation framework
• AWS Cloud architecture certificate is a plus
• Familiar with leading Enterprise Agile Planning tools and ITSM tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow
• ITIL v4 Certificate is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years' prior working in DevOps teams supporting with similar tasks of configuration, automation, cloud based CI/CD pipelines, preferably in a large enterprise organization
• Worked with test automation framework definition and construction
• Familiar with Security testing and frameworks related to CI/CD, Cloud and how these integrates from security perspective
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Key competencies

• Open-minded, should be able to adapt to working in a multi-cultural team atmosphere
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills to be able to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, roles, and work in an agile environment
• Strong technical skills and understanding of data base structures and infrastructure elements on system and system integration level.

We offer you

The Tools & Infra Engineer is part of the Automation Chapter falling under the umbrella of the central Ikano Development organization consisting of a total of 56 co-workers, and therefore you may be working on one or more simultaneous changes across the location within the bank.

You will be expected to take an active role in Infrastructural cloud based configurations, strategy work around best practice implementations based on target architecture and quality understanding of all deliverables done by the team and the impact of thus changes.
