We currently have the following job opening;
Infotainment Project Manager
As the Infotainment Project Manager, you are responsible for managing an Infotainment platform program across different car projects (owned by both Sweden and China). You will lead a Tier-1 development team into the OEM (CEVT and Geely) and ensure all project deliveries meet scope and quality requirements. You are the key resource in holding the project deliverables together, driving the organization in both Sweden and China, and communicating/synchronizing with our customers.
You must be technically adept with automotive Infotainment systems (preferably from CEVT/Volvo CMA or Volvo SPA) and components, you must be an effective communicator in a global environment, and be very driven to identify, quantify, solve and close issues. You must have a technical background, but be able to be the spider in the web and make multiple project deliveries simultaneously.
You must be comfortable working with all levels of an organization to understand, drive, and close issues. You should be flexible, able to navigate politically and culturally challenging situations, and build strong relationships (especially trust and follow through of commitments).
Responsibilities and tasks
- Build strong relationship with all CEVT, Geely, and China team members who are stakeholders in the Infotainment system, as well as the technical team developing the system in China and Sweden and be both the director of planning as well as the spider in the web.
- Identify, understand, communicate, and drive closure of all Infotainment project development and production phase issues
- Daily communication with launch team, interaction with Sweden team, and daily reports back to launch team.
Requirements
- M.Sc. Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive development and experience of Tier-1 or OEM project management, preferably in pre-production and launch phase of an Infotainment System such as CMA or Volvo SPA. Familiarity with Infotainment components, hardware, software, and functions.
- Preference for familiarity with Infotainment and AutoSAR architecture
- Strong communicator with proven leadership and relationship results across cultures, preferably proven experience with Asian culture
- Extremely results oriented, able to manage many complex issues at the same time.
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English
