Position Description:
You will lead the work with the global platform for infotainment system and that our Infotainment platform is a competitive and good performing product and in alignment with our technology strategies. The infotainment platform is an integral part of our customer?s product offering and the driver environment to all truck brands and segments within the Volvo group.
To deliver world class products in this area we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost. The development is done in a global environment with colleagues and suppliers from around the world.
Main responsibilities:
• Lead the work with the global platform for infotainment system development
• Globally drive the technology strategy work within the infotainment platform area for all brands and segments
• Be involved in early project phases to define infotainment concepts
• Act as technical adviser
• Participate in the pre-study team to secure the global platform perspective
• Secure global alignment of the infotainment platform with the technology strategies
• Participate in choices of tools and definition of work methods that influences the platform
• Lead AE projects
Required Competencies:
• We believe you have a strong background in software engineering development and a deep technical knowledge of embedded systems development and software architecture.
• You have a strong customer focus and a natural, service minded attitude. In your working situation you like taking responsibility, act with integrity and, of course, with a result oriented mindset. We believe that you are social, flexible and like working in teams.
• Good communicator, presentation skills and ability to convince others of good ideas
• Motivated, innovative enthusiastic and a positive attitude

• Fluent in English, spoken and written
Minimum Years of Experience Required:
Minimum 10 years of experience of software architecture development, preferably in the domain Infotainment from the automotive industry
Minimum Education Required:
Master of Science in electrical- or computer engineering or similar.
