Beskrivning av verksamheten
Nordregio - Nordic Centre for Spatial Development conducts strategic research in the broad field of regional studies, including sustainable urban and rural development. We provide policy relevant knowledge with a Nordic, European and Arctic perspective. Our main clients are policymakers and officials at government level and regional authorities in the Nordic countries, the European Union, as well as private and public stakeholder organisations. Nordregio has a multi-disciplinary international staff, and is located in attractive surroundings at Skeppsholmen in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. The institute was established in 1997 by the Nordic Council of Ministers, and is built on nearly 50 years of Nordic collaboration.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
The tasks include: 1. Website administration; structure and content management, writing news and articles, photo editing, contact with technical support 2. Editorial work incl. Nordregio News, Reports and Working Papers, and administration of Nordregio's publications in the DiVA Portal 3. Layout of products, such as invitations, programs, Policy Briefs, etc. 4. Social media incl. Nordregio's use of Facebook, LinkedIn etc. You are also expected to contribute to the fulfilment of Nordregio's high ambition of being an environmentally conscious, caring and equal working place.

Utbildning och erfarenhet
A successful applicant has relevant educational background and at least two years' experience of communications work. As a Communications Officer at Nordregio you have excellent writing skills, but you also excel in different ways of visual communication. You are creative and self-motivated, and will fit into a cooperative working environment where communication is an integral part of our research projects. Fluency in English and at least one Scandinavian language is essential. Experience of Nordic cooperation is an additional advantage as well as knowledge within Nordregio's research field. Naturally you have working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Office and web publishing systems (we use EPiServer).

Heltid
We offer competitive salaries and term contracts with a maximum length of four years. After further agreement the contract can be renewed for an additional four-year period.
