Information Security Officer ensures that technology and information security risks and controls are adequately and effectively managed. You will be responsible for driving iZettle Technology and Information Security Oversight program, to support the global technology and information security strategy and ensure that business objectives are developed, implemented and maintained accordingly.
• Execution of the Technology and Information Security Oversight strategy depends on steering a program of projects and ongoing activities, including but not limited to, control objectives, monitoring and effectiveness, policy lifecycle management, risk and platform changes, regulatory and industry standards gap analysis and issue remediation.
• This role provides an oversight across the technology and information security control environments and takes responsibility for overseeing its effectiveness, intervening to improve weaknesses and alerting senior management in the event of significant risks, defects, issues, and incidents requiring attention.
Responsibilities
• Develop a comprehensive program to support business and functional strategy objectives,
• Provide an effective management of technology and information security risks and controls,
Ensure compliance with applicable local, regional and global regulatory requirements for technology and information security and applicable industry standards,
Confirm an effective monitoring and resolution of formally managed risk issues in the information security and technology domain,
Stay abreast of emerging trends and threats in technology and information security, through community collaboration and ecosystem contributions,
Maintain close cooperation and coordination with the global first and second line teams responsible for crisis management and security incident response,
Provide subject-matter expertise to enable oversight for the technology and information security services received through outsourcing agreements.
