Now there is an interesting job opening where we are looking for an Information Security & IT Process Manager.
As the Information Security & IT Process Manager you will have the overall responsibility to ensure that the information assets are well protected and that they comply with internal & regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Information security framework as well as collaborating closely with the business organization for regulatory compliance management processes (e.g. GDPR, export control) related to the IT/IS environment.
In this role you will drive and assist in the definition, design and implementation of the Information Security framework, to ensure the right level of protection for systems, information assets and IT services. This job also includes to develop and maintain internal user-friendly information security policies and guidelines. Another key area is to work in active partnership with external stakeholders to perform security gap risk assessments and audits
You work together with the organization's stakeholders to survey, identify and recommend best-fit security solutions and participate in implementation where appropriate. This is the person who will be a trusted advisor and a "point of contact" regarding information security issues affecting the business operations globally.
You will be located in Göteborg (Sweden), at the headquarter, reporting directly to the IT Manager. The number of people in the IT department is expected to be about 12 people. Some travel over multiple continents is to be expected.
Do you recognize yourself in having the below competence?
• High degree of experience in Information Security, Risk & Compliance mgmt. as well as process management in a complex multinational environment
• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer science (or equivalent)
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and export control regulations
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish is essential for this job- ability to deconstruct & communicate complex information in clear & unambiguous terms
• Preferably some Information security certification, e.g. CISSP/CISM/CISSO or/and knowledge of ISO 270xx as well as previous experience from being part of an Information security team in a global environment. Broad information technology competence
