Digital Services & Solutions is a recently formed function within Volvo Buses with the global responsibility for digital services and solutions over the life cycle. In close cooperation with our customers and stakeholders, Digital Services & Solutions are responsible for defining, developing and delivering world class solutions that ultimately drives earnings and profitability for our customers and for Volvo Buses. On an overall level, we have the global responsibility in the following areas
Enterprise Architecture & Data Security - ensuring a robust digital foundation
Business Development & Partnerships - driving business development and partnership set-ups
Connected Services - ensuring world class connected services for sustainable people transports
Volvo Connect - the "digital home" for all connected services & solutions
Business Solutions - ensuring world class digital solutions to support operational efficiency
We are now extending our team and look for someone that is ready to take on the role of Business Information Architect/ Information Manager. We believe that you have the drive and passion to contribute to our ambitious digitalization journey.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your main focus is to enable execution of the business strategy by defining and implementing, business information strategy, roadmap and target architecture. You will be responsible for implementing information management practices and establishing a business information architecture, with specific emphasis on becoming truly data driven and significantly increase services sales.

This position requires that you proactively identify and address both opportunities and issues on our journey towards truly data driven company. You can easily interact with a wide variety of business stakeholders and other architect roles to gather information, facilitate consensus building and influence the P&IT roadmap. You should be commercially oriented, with team building skills. You like to develop both yourself and others, always striving for continuous improvements. Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written is a must.
We of course expect that you have experience as an Information Manger and/or Business Information Architect and are comfortable with architecture models like TOGAF or Volvo Group architecture frameworks and processes. You also should have experience from developing architecture and/or information strategies, policies, guidelines, information management and guide development projects towards a target architecture. Finally, you have a University/Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
