Job Description

The position as Information Manager is a new role in the Staff Function New Nuclear, which will have the responsibility for developing the architecture, structure and governance of both information management and requirement management for Vattenfall's nuclear new build projects.
Tasks
Develop and own the strategy for Information Management and detail the roadmap for the development of an information management system for the Nuclear Newbuild program.
Develop and own the strategy for Requirement Management and detail the roadmap for the development of a requirement management system for the Nuclear Newbuild program.
Establish and enforce standards, guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency and adherence when it comes to information and requirement management.
Create and maintain information management models, e.g. business glossary, conceptual and domain models that accurately represent the structure, relationships and semantics of information and requirement within the program. Do this by collaborating with different internal and external stakeholders to understand the business requirements.
Work closely with Data Engineers and with IT Architects to ensure that IT tools that are implemented fulfills the requirement from the business.
Stay updated with industry trends (emerging practices and technologies) and participate in relevant international industry fora, to drive knowledge exchange.
Effectively communicate and present complex information modelling concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, promoting understanding and buy-in.

The location of the position is flexible within Sweden. You will be part of a growing organisation with a lot of opportunities to develop where the position will develop over time. Initially you will need to take responsibility for both the strategic and practical development of the information and requirement management system. Over time the position will transform into more of a managing and strategic position.

Qualifications

Educated to degree level in Systems Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems a related field, or relevant industry experience, for example, Pharmaceutical, offshore, nuclear, aerospace or defense industry. Your Swedish and English is strong, both verbally and written. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position:
Proven experience in relevant areas
Experience with designing and/or implementing governance, methodologies and tools
Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with industry trends
A self-starter who is result-oriented and capable of working both independently and in a team set up.

Ability to explain complex topics in an understandable way
Ability to prioritise and focus
A hands-on attitude who is willing to take on responsibility and continuously develop
Team player with cooperation skills dealing with different cultures in an international setting
Consulting skills to advise stakeholders on all levels on the way forward
