For our Data Platform team, part of the unit Analytics & AI, we are now looking for a driven and curious Information Architect to further support our mission to create, develop, and make data available to the company - in one single version of truth, with scalable platforms that grows with the company.
What you'll do
Our Data Platform team consists of approx. 10 experts and developers. Our responsibilities include:
* Information / Data Architecture (Modelling, Lifecycle Mgmt., Data definitions, Quality)
* Data Engineering (Data ingestion, pipe, preparation, operations, and ETLs)
* Analytics Infrastructure, (Data lake, Cloud Development, Tools, etc.)
* Data Privacy
As our Information Architect you will be central in developing and maintaining our vision of a single version of the truth. As such you are responsible for our joint data definitions, ensuring consistency across all data consumers. Those consumers include several stakeholders such as Advanced Analytics, Martech teams and our Performance Management & BI teams. As the Information Architect you will be working together with our Enterprise Architects to build and enforce our domain specific information models within Analytics & AI. A central part of your role is to document and communicate decisions, strategies and roadmaps, preferably with a hands-on approach.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Together with Enterprise Architecture, business and development teams develop conceptual and logical data models for the analytics domain
* Primarily working with business end users to formulate question like How do you organize and divide information? How do you present information? Maintain data definitions throughout data life cycle.
* Support our Data Engineers and Scientists with domain specific patterns and solutions ensuring data consistency, e.g. anonymization patterns
* Implementing controls/governance to ensure consistent handling of data sourcing, data lineage and metadata
Who are you
In order to succeed in this position, we believe you should have:
* At least 4-6 years relevant education at University level
* Strong experience within the information management field with hands on experience managing data and information architecture
* Strong experience in creating and presenting typical architectural artifacts such as logical and physical data models
* Knowledge and hands on experience of major architectural concepts such as master- and reference data management, data quality, meta data management etc.
* Knowledge and hands on experience from different data storage technologies, both SQL and NOSQL data bases such as Oracle, MongoDB etc.
* Experience in integrating different technologies for data management, lineage and governance Cloudera (Navigator, Sentry) stack, informatica or Denodo is a plus
