MultiMind is looking to appoint a skilled Industry Analyst for a 12 month assignment with one of our clients. Our client is truly global and is a premier provider of search engine services for consumers and business. This consultancy opportunity is based in Oslo, Norway.
In this role, you will be part of a team that partners closely with major advertising clients and agencies to develop digital solutions that build their clients' businesses and brands. Our client is in a unique and exciting position to shape how marketing and business is conducted in the digital age; helping customers connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences and get the most out of the web.
The Challenge
Businesses that partner with our client come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, therefore advertising solutions vary greatly from one customer to the other. Your knowledge of online media, analytics and exceptional communication skills will be crucial in shaping how growth will be achieved via existing and new business.
How?
You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, evangelize and educate new customers about our client’s latest advertising products and technologies. You capitalize on your well-polished influencing and relationship-building skills; you provide top-shelf client service, research and market analysis. You understand the details of individual campaigns and explore the business needs of targeted clients. Working with them, you help define the vision and strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
This is a market research-oriented and creative position that requires a sharp, analytical mind and an entrepreneurial spirit. Armed with deep knowledge of our client’s renowned products, marketing trends and individual client needs, you'll brainstorm, develop and refine compelling, customized marketing plans and deliver them to the Sales team in advance of client-facing meetings. Your primary goals as an Industry Analyst is to capture a given target audience with innovative tools and refine how to position the products in an integrated way to align with the Sales team's objectives.
Core Responsibilities
• Develop client presentations including account reviews and analyses tailored to the clients as well as attending client meetings to support your findings/recommendations/conclusions.
• Use your comprehensive knowledge of our client’s products to align them with the client's marketing objectives.
• Acquire and share deep knowledge of the industry/vertical, its competitive landscape, client products and key business issues that affect the client and industry.
• Create insights using industry, marketing and third-party research.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Must speak and write in English, Swedish and/or Norwegian fluently and idiomatically.
Even Better if…
Experience in an analytical role, working with data to identify trends and make recommendations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
Advanced level of proficiency in spreadsheets and presentations.
Analytical skills that include the ability to see granular as well as big picture issues.
Strong project management, interpersonal and organizational skills.
