As our new industrialization engineer you and your team members will make sure that powerful manufacturing and delivery processes keep the Tobii train unstoppable!
The role and responsibilities
During the new and current development cycle you will work close to the different Tobii R&D teams to optimize the design for manufacturing. Being the link between these teams and or suppliers you will be the one making sure the supply chain is ready on time.
As an industrialization engineer you are a part of the global operations team, and we need you to be dedicated to work in a lovely mix of both technical and commercial topics.
In this position you will also get the opportunity to travel to production sites in Asia, about 4-6 times per year!
Your days will be filled with tasks to
• Establish, deliver, and maintain manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Drive continuous improvement through the supply chain, resulting in increased yields, improved cost and delivery precision.
• Work with the R&D team on hardware designs with a focus on DFx.
Understanding commercial aspects of supply chain management is seen as a plus!
We are looking for someone who
• Is fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Has an engineering degree, in a relevant field.
• Has 5+ years of relevant work experience, including firsthand experience from a production environment, and from producing consumer products.
We find it to be a strong merit if you have experience from production ramp up of new products at contract manufactures or ODMs.
To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to be organized as a person, and be inspired and efficient even during times of high pace. You're nonhierarchical in attitude with focus on results and quality.
