We are now looking for the right person to fill an opening as Industrial Lead in our Product Preparation group within Operations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As the market leader in the surveillance cameras category with the aim to drive the shift from analog to digital video surveillance, it is crucial to have an inventive product portfolio but also a smooth product launch and fast volume ramp-up. The Industrial Lead has a key role to achieve that as they are responsible to coordinate the production related activities within product development projects.
In this role you will also:
• Plan, coordinate, and drive all industrialization activities (e.g. sourcing, quality, production test development and production planning) early in the projects to secure an effective and smooth production ramp-up
• Be responsible to keep the industrialization part of the project plan on track and make sure deliveries are according to plan
• Contribute to detect quality-, sourcing- and production risks. Own and illustrate the industrialization risks to the project managers to keep them informed of the status.
• Participate and set demands from a Supply Chain perspective during reviews of new products and project documents
• Participate during the transfer of projects from the project organization to Operations to secure that project deliveries are met.
• Plan and drive important activities that affect Operations e.g. Product transfer or Product maintenance projects
This position requires approximately 25 days of travelling per year.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you have a technical university degree or similar education. You have a few years of experience in production and procurement or sourcing as well as experience of project management. Good communication in English, both spoken and written, is required.
You are a driven team player with good collaboration skills. Furthermore, you are well-structured with a high quality focus and the ability to coordinate and follow-up multiple projects simultaneous.
THE PRODUCTION PREPARATION GROUP
Industrialization project management, Design for Manufacturing and product data management in PDM and ERP system during development of new products and during serial production the group perform product transfers between production sites, support production and introduces product changes. The main collaboration is with R&D, EMS’s, the Configuration & Logistic Centers and the quality department.
