Description
Are you an IT infrastructure expert excited about communication, perating systems, and virtualisation within manufacturing environments?
IT solutions at a plant are crucial to meet our customer's interest in production data, distributed production control and remote connections. We are looking for an Industrial IT solution specialist who can drive our activities within this area. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to gain experience from projects and customer sites all around the world on the cutting edge of automation.
In Tetra Pak Automation Projects & Roll-out we deploy and support world class automation platforms and services to our customers through the Tetra PlantMasterT products. The team is the centre of expertise to our market companies, packaging platforms and business units in creating solutions that fulfil our customer's requirements. This position is based in Lund, Sweden and involves travelling of up to 30 %.
Main responsibilities
• Plan and drive deployment activities for our industrial IT solutions
• Give advice and hands-on support to market companies and other users how to obtain the customer requirements at their specific installation
• Participate in customer discussions regarding IT solutions such as network, security and other specific questions
• Support the development teams with requirements and feedback about our IT solutions
• Create official training material and perform training sessions
• Participate in validation and field test of Tetra PlantMasterT products
• Handle and solve technical issues reported from Tetra PlantMasterT users
Qualifications
• Expertise in communication protocols for IoT & automation, TCP/IP-Ethernet, OPC connectivity and associated application protocols
• Competence in Microsoft Windows & Linux/Open-source platforms
• Knowledge of various wireless technologies, including GSM/UMTS, Bluetooth, RFID, NFC, Wi-Fi and related standards
• Skills in cyber security standards around system, data and communications security (VPN)
• Experience in virtualization technologies
You have a university degree or equivalent and relevant experience from industrial IT. Broad field experience of industrial technology in both new and legacy systems is desired.
To be successful in this role you have a collaborative mindset, problem solving approach and you like challenges and honour commitments. You like working close to customers and act with them in mind at all times. An interest and ability to train, develop and motivate others is also of great importance.
You are highly proficient in spoken and written English.
