hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Time Setting is an important activity while designing processes within Manufacturing and Logistics. We need to analyse movements and know how much time is required to perform a task, to balance the whole process so it fits to the right takt time. Therefore, Scania has developed a standardised way to perform Time Setting, called STS - Scania Time Setting. Along with standardisation, STS also aims to ensure reliable times based on the best known and agreed method throughout our organisation.
Global Industrial Development (VE) is responsible for consolidation and development of Scania's joint competences within Industrial Engineering, as well as development and coordination of related Production IT-systems. We also coordinate Scania Production activities with the TRATON group.
Global Industrial Engineering (VEE) is a department within Global Industrial Development and is currently searching for a Scania Time Setting Expert to continue the development and maintenance of this core competence area. This expert will also act as a Competence Leader, managing an internal network of other Scania experts which covers a wider technology area.
