Come join BRIO as an Industrial Manager, being a crucial link between production and the rest of the organization. Making ideas and drawings come to life in large scale production meanwhile developing and growing cooperation's and relationships.
Main duties:
The core of the position is to take ideas/concepts for new products and development of existing products and industrialize them so that they are possible to produce on a large scale. You will get the chance to lead a team of four engineers within various technical fields, being their speaking partner, ensuring and/or challenging all out put in a production context. Having a coaching and clear strategy of showing the way of working to find the best solutions. Workload capacity planning, project deadlines and deliverables within new product development are some of your responsibilities. As well as proposing solutions for production efficiency and risk mitigations where necessary.
In this position you will be BRIOs main speaking partner for the external productions sites in China and Eastern Europe. Acting as a mediator, finding the best solutions to producing BRIOs products. Your perspectives will mainly be technical specifications, tools, cost and of course most importantly safety and standards. You will be responsible for BRIOs tooling budget.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we see you as an experienced leader in engineering, preferably within a smaller company and for an integrated team. You have a MSc or BSc degree in an engineering field, or work experience that is equivalent to these studies. We also see that you have extensive experience working with production from an engineering perspective. This experience and your management skills combined, makes you comfortable in creating new processes and routines. You love to take ownership of them and leave your mark. Later also getting the rest of the organization on board.
You want to be a an important player in a small company on the rise and love being hands on. A drive for change comes naturally to you, as does being humble, curious, dedicated and communicative. Your typical way of working is structured, strategic, solution and detail oriented and decisive with a holistic view of the operation and cooperation's that exist. Negotiations has been part of your work previously and you strive to find the best compromise for all parties. You are proficient in the English language both orally and in writing.
Most importantly you feel passion for the BRIO brand!
It is meritorious if you have experience in the toy or children's product industry and knowledge in Children's safety standards and local interpretations. Also if you have experience in construction, drawings and an interest and knowledge in cost and cost driver mechanisms. If you know Swedish this is also a bonus.
