Indirect Regional Buyer

Indirect Purchasing within Gambro is responsible for the sourcing of all indirect materials and services. Indirect Purchasing operates on a global, regional and local level. Gambro seeks a responsible candidate to drive customer value beyond expectations. This person will also be responsible for selecting, nominating, and continuously improving a world-class supply base in the region, at optimized cost and best quality for Gambro. This is a key purchasing position within supplier relationship management, and will have responsibility for affecting Gambro's overall aspects of purchase price and quality cost.

Main Responsibilities

• Negotiation and Nomination/ Sourcing
• Responsible for regional supply contacts and contracts.
• Perform scorecards and review periodically with identified key suppliers, continuous improvement focus in all aspects of Gambro business (quality, total cost, delivery, relationship)
• Supplier Relationship Management
• Cross-Functional Global Interaction
• Identify new suppliers, technologies and other opportunities
• Drive savings opportunities with supply base
• Establish strategies for assigned commodities in the region

The position is located in Lund, Sweden and will report to the Director of Indirect Purchasing.

Background
You are a person with a degree preferably in Engineering, Business or other equivalent. You have at least 3 years of sourcing experience with solid knowledge in indirect purchasing. You have an advantage in this position if you have experience from a global organization and/or multinational corporation.

You are fluent in both oral and written Swedish and English. You have a strong
proficiency in computer skills.

You are a strong communicator with skills in negotiation. You have the ability to work both effectively and independently and have a passionate approach to your work. Furthermore, you are a person that takes initiative, are results oriented and have a "Can Do" attitude. You are open to both national and international travel.
