In Vårgårda, we have our state-of-the-art Research and Electronics Manufacturing facility. Here, together with our engineers, we develop the next generation in modern manufacturing of radar and camera systems
Our purpose-driven and curious teams are creating trust in mobility through human-centric innovation. We are today the largest pure-player in Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). We design and manufacture products and solutions for active safety, occupant protection and brake control.
What you'll do?
We are now looking of an Indirect Purchaser that can take the responsibility for our indirect purchases at Veoneer Sweden AB. You will have the responsibility to take lead in negotiations of quotes from the initiation phase to ordering. Based on your sourcing of indirect material and services you will select suppliers that is best suited our business. To be able to accomplish this you develop strategically important suppliers, maintain supplier performances and contacts. Additionally, you will manage and act on risks related to the supply chain.
As our Indirect Purchaser you will also have an important role of developing, implementing and maintaining our processes, standards and systems of indirect material and services. This means that your will participate and working closely with our stakeholders not only in the budget process but also focus on being able to reach local spend and saving targets according to set goals.
Your main focused categories will be procurement of framework agreement for logistics, facility management incl waste management and utilities & general consumables.
You will be based at our manufacturing plant in Vårgårda, here you will support and work closely with your colleagues both locally and in the global category teams.
What you'll bring
You already have a solid base and minimum 3-5 years' experience and knowledge within operational and strategic purchasing in the indirect procurement area.
We presume that you thrive in an environment of constant learning and development, where you can put your problem solving and analytic skills to good use. You enjoy being the center of all things when it comes to purchasing. You have excellent communication skills and know how to create long lasting relationships with suppliers and within the business.
You experience working with improvements, clarifications and simplifications of the processes and thrive in finding, establishing and following structures in a high pace, and in a dynamic and agile environment, constantly working towards a deadline.
You are used to and enjoy working both independently and in global teams, taking initiative, making decisions based on facts and taking ownership of your process. You see yourself as result oriented and quality minded person with a sense for structure and responsibility.
Level (diploma) required:
• Higher level education in engineering or economic.
•
Other required skills:
• Experience within global operational and strategic purchasing
• Good knowledge in Swedish and English both written and verbal
• Good IT-knowledge
