What you'll do?We are now looking of a new Indirect Purchaser that can take the responsibility for our indirect purchases at Veoneer Sweden AB. You will have the responsibility to take lead in negotiations of quotes from the initiation phase to ordering. Based on your sourcing of indirect material and services you will select suppliers that is best suited our business. To be able to accomplish this you develop strategically important suppliers, maintain supplier performances and contacts. Additionally, you will manage and act on risks related to the supply chain.
As our Indirect Purchaser you will also have an important role of developing, implementing and maintaining our routines, standards and systems for Veoneer's purchasers of indirect material and services. This means that your will participate and working closely with our stakeholders not only in the budget process but also focus on being able to reach local spend and saving targets according to set goals
You will be based at our manufacturing plant in Vårgårda, here you will support the plant and work closely with your colleagues in the global category teams. Your main focused categories will be logistic and packaging, general consumables and facility management.

You enjoy being the "spider in the web" when it comes to purchasing and you have excellent communication skills and know how to create long lasting relationships with suppliers and within the business. You have a well-developed customer service skill but at the same time you can be assertive and communicate demands and requirements both internally and externally. You are comfortable and thrive in finding, establishing and following structures in a high pace, and in a dynamic and agile environment, constantly working towards a deadline.
You are used to and enjoy working both independently and in global teams, driving your work forward. You understand the different roles involved in operational and strategic purchasing and what you all, the business, are trying to accomplish. You see yourself as result oriented and quality minded person with a sense for structure and responsibility. You're able to see possibilities for improvements in your daily work and enjoy working with process development.
Level (diploma) required:
• Post-secondary education in Purchasing or Accounting degrees
Other required skills:
• Experience within global operational and strategic purchasing
• Good knowledge in Swedish and English both written and verbal
• Good IT-knowledge, experience eBuy is highly merited
