hela Sverige We are currently looking for one of our clients an Indirect Procurement / Sourcing Specialist Nordics for a six months assignment with good potential for extension. Our client is a large international company based in Stockholm.
Responsibilities:
The Indirect Procurement Specialist will be part of leading, proposing and implementing category and sourcing plans to achieve an agreed benefits plan and other identified category and sourcing goals. The main focus will be cross-sector procurement customers. The role will report into the Indirect Procurement Head.
Functional sourcing & procurement:
• Develop relevant category and sourcing strategies
• Develop and implement sourcing plans, including sourcing of large projects
• Lead and execute the sourcing process for all categories
• Ensure strong relationships with business stakeholders and be aligned with agreed upon category and business goals
• Participate in an efficient supplier management for the categories in scope
• Participate in supplier enabled innovation and sustainability programs
• Seek and exploit leverage opportunities across countries and sectors
• Deliver agreed annual procurement targets
• Apply and adhere to pre-defined systems & tools, compliancy with P2P policy and procedures
• Be aware of industry trends and best practices to apply these whenever appropriate
• Manage specific programs linked or not with the procurement categories
• Liaise with procurement professionals in other areas and countries to align where appropriate
• Involve and coach Buyers/Sourcing Specialists in sourcing projects
• Analyse product portfolio versus supplier base to streamline where appropriate and propose improvements
Transactional procurement:
• Approve/deny PO in Ariba by analysing the items being purchased at the right supplier, with the right commodity code and pricing
• Rerouting of PO?s in specific cases to relevant Sourcing Managers
• Is able to have existing PO?s successfully changed or cancelled by internal client when needed based on review
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers
• Create, approve, maintain and update contracts in Ariba
• Drive adoption of contract and preferred supplier usage
Performance metrics:
• Total cost reduction / Total cost avoidance
• Linked to defined targets
• Sustainability programs
• Risk mitigation (supplier quality, compliance, financial)
• Feedback from business customers
Searched profile:
Education:
• Education at Master degree level (or equivalent through experience)
• English fluent (written and oral), Swedish or another Scandinavian language is an advantage
• Quickly adaptable and flexible to fast changing circumstances
• Convincing, influencing presentation and communication skills
• Business savvy
• A change accelerator with a very pro- active hands-on attitude
• Advanced analytical skills
Experience:
• Demonstrated procurement expertise & knowledge for the categories under his/her responsibility
• Proven negotiation and commercial skills
• Demonstrated priority and project management skills managing multiple projects with different deadlines to meet
• Customer orientation (building and maintaining strong relationship with internal clients)
• Open for occasional travel
