We are looking for an Indirect Category Buyer to join our team of dedicated purchasers. This is a strategic role and your main responsibility will be to drive improvements within your categories. You will work in close cooperation with other departments within FlexLink and other internal stakeholders globally. You will be based in our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden, and report to the Senior Manager Purchasing.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Develop our supply base
• Drive cost improvement activities
• Identify and execute an indirect sourcing plan
• Support stakeholders in supplier related activities
Who are you?
• B.Sc. degree in engineering is preferred but your previous experience is the most important.
• At least 5 years' experience from purchasing, preferably in an international context.
• Experience in Indirect sourcing and categories.
• Solution oriented, strong negotiator and good at managing supplier relations.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience from SAP is meritorious.
We are looking for someone who is business oriented with great communication skills. You are outgoing and enjoy working with other people. You have excellent decision making skills and are perceived as a self-starter. Furthermore you have great analytical and negotiation skills. Some travels will occur.
