hela Sverige As Independent Safety Validator you participate in projects as the independent expert in validating the system implementation against its requirements. It is a continuously work throughout the project from the start-up to regularly give support and early judgements to guide the Project to a successful safety assessment. This includes:
• to contribute to decisions on appropriate methods and techniques (based on suggestions made by the Project, with focus on validation criteria).
• to judge upon fulfillment of safety and functional requirements by analyzing its correctness, completeness, adequacy and consistency.
• to judge if the verification is or has been handled correctly and evaluate the completeness of these activities.
• to judge about all failure and hazard handling as well as judge about all safety design and development methods and their results regarding safety (e.g. FMECA, MTBF, FTA, RAMS, SRAC).
• to work independently of the project and to be able to determine whether product developed for the project are sufficiently safe and fit for purpose
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Perform validation activities according to the Validation Plan, based on reviews and conducting technical/functional safety audits
• Write the Validation Plan applying methods and techniques according to company quality and safety procedures as well as CENELEC
• Validate development, test activities and review Safety Case
• Write the Validation Report summarizing the system validation in the areas of functional behavior, performance, safety and reliability
• Perform validation activities according to the Validation Plan, based on reviews and conducting technical/functional safety audits
• Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering/Software/Hardware or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in software test or software development or system engineering
• Experience in railway signalling is desirable
• Knowledge of quality assurance, safety assurance more oriented
• Knowledge of CENELEC standards, EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, EN50159 or IEC61508, ISO26262 and Knowledge of European Rail Traffic Management System is desirable
• Knowledge of Project Management is desirable
• Process and details oriented
• Fluent English is mandatory
