Axel Arigato is offering a full-time position for an In-house Retoucher at the HQ in Gothenburg. You will be responsible for all retouching for web and SoMe channels. A majority of the role involves editing, retouching, resizing, renaming and organizing product shots. The ideal candidate have strong editing skills, a luxury point-of-view, is comfortable in a high-volume production environment and is extremely flexible to quickly react on business needs. This is an exciting role for a person who thrives in a fast paced and vibrant environment.
The In-house Retoucher reports directly to the company's Brand Director.
Job description
• Responsible for all post-production and retouch (skin, color correct, shape, consistency, masking and other specifications)
• Crop, prepare and deliver assets in the correct format, correct naming and on time
• Checking and ensuring the quality of images before uploading
• Maintaining deadlines with respect to the release calendar
• Support special projects & ad-hoc tasks as needed
• Making decisions consistent with the Axel Arigato brand identity and photographic standards
Qualifications
• Previous experience working in a similar position at a fashion/e-commerce environment
• Must have an outstanding portfolio to demonstrate past work with before and after images
• Experience retouching models, still life and product is required
• Extensive experience using Photoshop, Creative Clouds and Capture One programs
• Combination of an artistic eye and technical training in photography editing is required.
• Capable of quickly grasping creative concepts and artistic visions and making them realities.
• Strong colour correction skills to ensure consistency across all images
• Critical eye for correcting and enhancing exposure and colour
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines, and produce a high Volume of retouched images
• Interest in the Axel Arigato brand
