hela Sverige TEMP-TEAM Sverige is recruiting an In-house legal counsel to a new exciting vacancy on behalf of our client BMC Software. The role offers excellent career advancement in a dynamic, international and progressive environment.
As part of the Northern Europe legal team your main responsibility will be to provide in-house legal counsel to members of the UK, Nordic and Benelux Sales organizations but you will also need to liaise closely with peers in other EMEA regions and in the US. You will be based in the Stockholm office in Kista, alternatively Helsinki in Finland.

General Roles and Responsibilities;
• Negotiate contracts including license, service and software as a service agreements
• Work closely with Best Practice and Revenue Recognition teams to ensure contracts comply with accounting rules, BMC global licensing policies, US based laws and regulations (e.g. FCPA, SOX) and local law
• Provide legal advice and counsel on regional or country-specific legal issues
• Support the corporate compliance programs, including educating regional employees
• Liaise with outside counsel on region-specific engagements and assist Legal Counsel II and the VP EMEA Legal on litigation engagements
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as directed by the VP EMEA Legal
• Communicate with regional sales managers and customers as appropriate to ensure compliance and involvement in legal issues and processes
Publiceringsdatum2014-12-15KvalifikationerDesired skills and experience;
• Qualifications / Expectations: Solicitor with experience negotiating IT and other commercial contracts
• Minimum of 3-4 years of qualified legal experience ideally with some time spent working in-house
• Experience working in a sales environment preferred
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills in English (fluency in another European language preferred but not essential)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Desire to work as part of a global team in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to travel
