What you will do
In the role as IMS Engineer, you will work with the latest mobile technology, evolving toward the next generation of voice and communication systems. You will resolve incidents in task forces, in close dialogue with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers. The role includes configuration and parameter design and implementation and to take part in development implementation and operational readiness.

Our team is distributed in several locations in Sweden and are also collaborating with other Telenor countries. We are involved in the latest mobile technologies including IMS, voice, virtualization, and automation. We are operating/maintaining our IMS Core systems that handles voice services for both consumer and business voice services.
The role includes challenging tasks in different areas, but is not limited to:
* Troubleshooting within the mobile IMS product portfolio to improve our network and as a result give our customers a better experience
* Operation and Maintenance, troubleshooting of Mobile IMS core systems
* Collaboration with multiple suppliers in troubleshooting, analyzing faults
* 24/7 On Call Duty and planned/unplanned overtime
* Test & Verification of SW, HW and various products and systems based on the latest technology delivered by our suppliers.
Who you are
To succeed in the role, we believe that you are a person with an exploring mindset and a will to learn and develop within this area. You have a big interest in test, support and verification of products and solutions and we believe that you want to take on various roles over time. You are confident in technical environments such as Linus and Unix and are keen to learn more.
Your personal competencies:
* You aspire to be a technical expert in the Mobile IMS core area
* You are genuinely interested in all aspects of test, support and verification of products and solutions and expect to take on various roles over time
* You either have extensive knowledge of IMS and mobile networks, including signaling and media handling aspects, or you are ready to learn this complex area
* You have excellent knowledge of technology end to end and good understanding of the industry's emerging technology trends and ideas
* You have high skills in teamwork and communication as well as building new relations
* You have excellent verbal, written and presentational skills in English
