About the position
We are looking for an Immigration Consultant for our client. You will be part of a team within HR and the work takes place from the office based in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
As an Immigration Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing and managing immigration cases, particularly for employees requiring visas and work permits. You will conduct professional evaluations to determine the necessary permits and ensure compliance with Swedish immigration regulations.
This role requires an in-depth understanding of Swedish immigration law and experience working with immigration processes in Sweden. As an in-house specialist, you will contribute your expertise throughout the entire process.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and manage immigration cases in response to organizational changes
Provide guidance on work and residence permits for the employees
Ensure that applications and processes comply with Swedish legislation
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to facilitate immigration matters
Your characteristics
To excel as an Immigration Consultant, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset to navigate complex immigration cases. Clear communication and collaboration are essential for working with employees, internal stakeholders, and external providers. A proactive and structured approach helps manage multiple cases efficiently, while empathy and cultural awareness ensure professional and supportive guidance throughout the process.

Qualifications:
Experience from working with Swedish immigration law, preferably from the Swedish Migration Agency or a similar role in the private sector
Strong judgement skills and ability to interpret legislation
Experience of working with immigration processes within a large organization
Ability to handle a high influx of cases
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English and Swedish
Contract type and hours
Part-time consulting assignment until 2025-09-05. Start 2025-03-11.
