JOB DESCRIPTION
The Core Technologies team is responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Vision, Imaging and System. We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies. We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to our core competence areas. In addition to this we define test methods and standards to be used by Axis as a whole. 
As Imaging Test Engineer you will play a key part in ensuring optimal image sensor and optics choices for upcoming surveillance cameras from Axis. In this role, you will perform test and qualification of components using state of the art equipment. This includes measurements using MTF machine for optics and Integrating Sphere system for image sensors.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Perform testing of optical and sensor components.
• Write test documentation
• Assist with presentation of tests results
• Maintain test results databases and associated tools
• Participate in technology roadmapping process
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
In order to be successful we believe you are a driven person with a keen interest in test and verification as well as imaging technologies. You probably have a background within Quality Assurance testing, preferably from the sensor- or optics domain. You are a team player with the ability to work independently without detailed supervision.
Apart from the above we believe you have the following qualifications:
• Technical college graduate degree or equivalent
• Experience of component level QA- or Acceptance testing
• Knowledge of imaging technologies in general
• Ability to develop tools using e.g. Visual Basic or Java is a merit.
• Excellent skills in Swedish and English written & oral communication
