Our name is IKEA Communications, or ICOM as most people call us. We're the IKEA communication partner and create everything from the IKEA website to the annual IKEA catalogue, brochures, assembly instructions and motion media. You'll find us a stone's throw from the first IKEA store, in Älmhult Sweden.
IKEA's websites and digital media inspire hundreds of millions of IKEA customers all over the world. IKEA Communications is responsible for designing and help developing the majority of these sites and platforms. It's our task to make them interesting, up to date and easy to use. To keep up with demand, we need to strengthen our organization. Our web assignment is growing fast and with it our need for skilled and motivated co-workers. We are looking for a Technical production leader to strengthen our web team. As a Technical production leader your overall responsibility is to lead and secure the production of a project from brief to delivery in terms of time, resources and delivered quality. Broken up, this overall responsibility can be summed up within these sentences:
• Lead the production of web specific assignments
• Project production planning
• Optimize the entire project production flow
• Project resource and capacity planning
To be successful in this role you need to have the following experience:
• Basic knowledge in different web services and web technologies
• Knowledge in web communication and related methods
• Knowledge of IKEA Communications production process and routines
• Knowledge in web development work
• Knowledge and experience in working with logic specifications
• Experience from working with web communication and digital media.
• Experience from working with planning web projects
• Experiences from working with subcontractors/developers
• Leadership experience
As a person you need to have the following features:
• Excellent skills in organization and planning
• Excellent skills in solving critical problems and take crucial decisions on a daily basis
• Ability to lead with situational adapted leadership
• Ability to drive your own development
• Be able to lead towards a common goal and motivate and steer team members
