THE POSITION

The purpose of the ICT (Information and Communications Technology) Technical Project Manager is to deploy and implement technology-driven solutions to support the core functions in MSF Sweden. You will plan, coordinate and manage a range of activities such as developing timelines, setting budgets and assigning tasks within information technology or telecommunications projects. You will ensure high-quality planning and coordination of IT projects for MSF Sweden, by developing detailed project plans and managing all implementation stages to ensure project success.



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As the ICT Technical Project Manager in the Finance, ICT and Facility Management Department you are responsible for:

• Leading and developing ICT project plans upon request (with a primary focus on fundraising tools) and managing all implementation processes, including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and implementation within budget constraints
• Working closely with team members and clients to ensure that the right equipment and personnel are available to complete project tasks. Project goals may include selection and installation of ICT resources, network management, programming and user training.
• Defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments
• Owning the communication and execution of solution hand-over to the internal end-user and other team members at designated milestones
• Developing and delivering progress reports, requirements documentation and presentations
• Keeping up to date with ICT solutions to meet the demands of the organisation
• Leading software purchase projects and negotiating agreements with IT-suppliers (software) when requested
• Ensuring a high level of information security (GDPR)
• Providing second line support to all users of the MSF Sweden ICT systems



OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

Required

• Strong commitment to humanitarian principles and values
• Relevant university education (Information systems, Computer science, Telecommunications)
• Proven experience of ICT products or project management (min 3 years)
• Experience of working with CRM systems
• Thorough, flexible and a strong work ethic
• Structured and self-motivated
• Experience of strategic ICT-work
• Good knowledge of ITIL-foundation
• Problem-solving approach
• Service-minded with great interpersonal skills
• Expert user of common ICT tools
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)



Valuable

• Previous MSF experience or other NGO experience
• Swedish and French language skills
• Negotiation skills
• ITIL-certified
• Good knowledge of Pm3 application management model



CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Type of employment: Permanent position with 6 months' probation
• Employment rate: 100 %
• Work hours: 37,5 h / week (occasionally provide support at MSF events, limited evening/weekend support)
• Salary: 34 612 SEK/month
• Location: MSF Sweden office in Stockholm
• Benefits: Pension, health insurance, life insurance, travel insurance, insurance for work related injuries, wellness contribution (up to 2 000 SEK/year).
• Entry date: As soon as possible
