ICT PROJECT MANAGER
to join to join Metsä Group's ICT unit in Husum, Sweden.
Your role in the future Metsä
ICT Project Manager will work in the Local ICT Services function with the team of experienced and knowledgeable ICT professionals. Our team works as trusted companion for Metsä Board Husum mill and leads ICT projects in the mill with high professional attitude from early preparing and planning phase until project closure.
You will lead and manage the current Metsä Group ICT sub-project in the ongoing Metsä Board Husum investment program as well as other named ICT projects from planning to closure. When working in Metsä Group you often have simultaneously more than one project under your responsibility.
In this role the main tasks are:
Manage ICT resources (internal/external)
Manage cost and risks
Schedule management, including synchronization with other project disciplines
Scope and quality management in projects
Vendor management and project change management in cross-disciplinary environments
Planning and executing project communications to the management, including reporting
Project documentation in expected and required level
Managing several different types of internal and external interest groups and stakeholders
What do we expect from you?
We expect that the Project Manager has proven practical and senior level experience in leading projects and programs, and strong knowledge in understanding different project and ICT practices and methodologies. We consider project management certifications as a plus.
To succeed you will need versatile skills in project management and ICT knowledge. We expect you to have skills in self-leadership and be a person to take initiative. Good skills in effective communication are a must. You likely hold experience from industrial scale projects having extensive ICT scope. Knowledge and experience in forest industry also help you to succeed but are not a must. Most important though is that you have several years of experience in complex project positions and you are still motivated in learning new.
In addition we expect:
University or polytechnic degree or similar knowledge earned other ways
Proven and strong Project Manager experience in different types of projects
Knowledge and understanding of several ICT disciplines, especially ICT infrastructure (networks, capacity)
Excellent negotiation, communication and group working skills
Service-minded personality with a good drive and capability to manage also own work independently and to deliver results
Fluent in Swedish and English
