Job Summary
Global Test Environment Center (GTEC) Stockholm is the primary GTEC for IMS and Cloud solutions with the main responsibility to provide remote infrastructure to Ericsson regions and external parties/partners. We are now looking for a Senior IMS ICT Engineer to be part of an energetic and professional team of highly skilled IMS ICT Engineers.
The ICT Engineer plans and operates the software and hardware solutions for our users. The ICT Engineer secures a stable Environment and optimizes the solutions/services to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner.
The ICT Engineer will get the opportunity to meet a lot of different challenging technologies by deploying/configuring/maintaining the necessary IMS network nodes.
An example, is the complex communications solution named VoLTE and its interoperability with the circuit switched networks (2G/3G PLMN, PSTN) - SRVCC, RCS, or multi-vendor interoperability of UEs with IMS (multi-media telephony services implementation and configuration).
The products are now starting to support Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) which means we are entering the very interesting area of Cloud based solutions.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Create cost effective solutions through activities in network design, planning and deployment
Drives and implements cost effective solutions
Configure and integrate nodes and solutions into networks (new and existing)
Maintain a stable environment and optimizes the network as necessary
Contribute to implement continuous improvements in the organization
Technical support and troubleshooting during project/activity handling of internal and external customers
Develop solutions and tools based on technical requirement
Position Qualifications
Core Competences:
High knowledge in the different IMS nodes (CSCF, HSS, MTAS, SBG, MGC, MGW, MRS, IPWorks) or parts of them.
Knowledge in different IMS signaling scenarios (Registration, SIP2SIP calls)
Knowledge in troubleshooting protocols as SIP, Diameter, etc
IT Processes, IT Tools & Infrastructure Knowledge

Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements:
A primary degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications, or equivalent experience is required for all ICT Engineer jobs
