As part of the STEAM Education Group, British International School of Uppsala (BISU) will be opening in August 2021 as premium British and International School in the heart of Uppsala, Sweden.
The British International school , Uppsala (BISU) will commence the admissions in February 2021, the school will open in August 2021 for grades K through Grade 10 and will add grades 11 and 12 in the subsequent years. The school's ultimate capacity will be 1500 students.
The British international school, Uppsala will follow the National Curriculum for England. The school's curriculum will also integrate technology, featuring hands-on project-based learning, innovative teaching methods, technology initiatives and worldwide partnerships with leading experts and organizations in technology-related research and practice.
About the Role
We are looking for an ICT/Computer Science Teacher to join our team at British international school, Uppsala from August 2021.
About You
The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher who is excited to join our STEAM school and is driven to provide education at an exceptional level. STEAM teachers enjoy an outstanding school environment in which to deliver a dynamic and creative curriculum to motivated students.
Successful applicants will have:
A certified teaching qualification with exceptional subject knowledge
Experience of working within a high performing teaching team
Experience teaching GCSE and A-Level or equivalent
A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
At least 2 years' experience of the National Curriculum for England
Applicants must have a certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent (PGCE/PGDE must be accompanied by a subject relevant Bachelor's Degree).
