IC Design Engineer - SystemC
The job involves design and verification of the virtual platforms used within ST Ericsson modem development projects.
The virtual platforms are designed in SystemC, using either in-house or third party development tools.
A successful candidate is someone with extensive experience of design and verification of virtual platforms. However either an experienced hardware designer with knowledge about software design or an experienced software designer with hardware design skills may be successful candidates as well. A mix of hardware and software knowledge is a must.
Both written and spoken English skills are required. The personal profile should also include a positive attitude, a desire to assist fellow engineers, a structured way of working, care with details and a natural talent in communicating with others.
Required competence
Excellent skills in either C/C++ or SystemC.
Good knowledge of hardware design (VHDL/Verilog).
Minimum 5-10 years experience.
Degree qualified in BSc
Wanted competence.
Knowledge of verification methodology.
Knowledge about SW design for an embedded environment
