The IB programme was introduced at Katedralskolan in 2001 and has grown rapidly. There are approximately 75-80 pre-DP students at our school each year and 150-160 students in the Diploma Programme. Our students are well motivated and hard-working, and our teachers are qualified and experienced, many with an international background. Our GPA is above the world average in most subjects and approximately 25 % of our candidates receive 38 points or above on their diplomas. The number of applicants for the IB programme (2 applicants per place offered) has not changed over the years.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
This vacant position includes the teaching of English A1 and English A2 at both Higher Level and Standard Level at the IB Programme. It also includes one or two groups of Theory of Knowledge – one of the core subjects for the IB Programme.

Kvalifikationer
We are seeking a qualified teacher of English with previous experience of the IB programme. English must be the native language of the applicants and they must have a genuine interest in literature and writing. Adequate knowledge and experience of Theory of Knowledge will be considered a merit.
