This fast-growing start-up was founded in 2010 and currently has more than 450 employees across its offices in London, Mexico City, São Paulo and Stockholm. The company started with a single mission: to empower small-business owners to sell smarter by offering them the tools typically reserved for bigger players. They have come a long way, but they have so much exciting work ahead of them. Therefore, they need the best and brightest people to help them get it done and are now looking for I.T. Support for their office in Stockholm.
Role description
You would help enable the users by handling tickets, as well as equipment maintenance and inventory. The role involves ensuring the day-to-day operation is running smoothly and all requests are handled with care and efficiency. You will report both to the IT Coordinator and Head of IT in Stockholm and provide feedback on the pulse and atmosphere of the Stockholm office and the users. You will also interact with the international team members on a regular basis.
You should have a keen interest in providing first class service and helping to develop state of the art technological solutions. You should be self-driven, organized, social and data oriented in order to best report the office's situation.
Responsibilities:
Support all hardware and software at the Stockholm office
Provide assistance for employees on their IT requests using the ticketing system (Jira Service Desk)
Ensure the resources are being put to good use by educating the users
Keep an updated and accurate inventory
Ensure all equipment is up to proper security standards
Requirements:
Analytical, creative and structured mindset
Independent yet social and proactive team member
Major in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology Engineering
Network Skills (LAN setup, router/switch configuration)
Proven interest in technology enabled business models
Ability to structure and follow up internal IT processes
Communication skills in English, both written and verbally
OSX and Windows advanced knowledge
Extra plus for:
Experience with Jira Service Desk and Google Apps
Printer maintenance experience
Experience in IT Infrastructure and networks
Knowledge in PABX maintenance/ VoIP
Relevant industry experience from a payments/e-commerce/gaming/web start-up
