The introduction of BioPower is the latest prominent example of innovative technology that has received at lot of attention. We are part of GM Powertrain, a concern with activity in 17 countries and has over 59 000 employees. GM Powertrain Sweden are today working with around 800 employees stated at three sites in Sweden: engine development and engine production in Södertälje, integration- and transmissions development in Trollhättan and production of manual gearboxes in Göteborg
Hybrid Simulation Engineer.
GM Powertrain Sweden AB are looking for a senior energetic person to the department of hybrid powertrain development. The work location is in Trollhättan.
GM Powertrain works with several different hybrid concepts. The department of hybrid development are in a phase of expanding and have already established as a part of the global hybrid development within GM. Our goal is to become a strategic important part of the development department within GM Powertrain of controlling, simulation and application of hybrid powertrain.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person who is able to work with simulating within fuel consumption, performance and part system of hybrid powertrain. You are as a person able to force the development of tools as well as the way to work and you develop good connections to ensure that the simulation work is an effective part of GMs global development of hybrid. The work includes contacts with similar positions at remaining facilities within GM Powertrain.
You are an experienced user of Matlab, Simulink, and hopefully some additional simulating tools. You take the initative to set up goals and deliver results. You are accurate to secure the status of quality to your deliverance. You like to cooperate with others within simulation and development. You are energetic to learn new technical ways and get a holistic view on the techniques used within the group.
You are able to speak up for GM Powertrain Sweden's part in the global development forums where new technique is develops. You have the will to develop common solutions together with the remaining of GM Powertrain. You communicate fluent both orally and written in English.
